The mid-2010s

Started in UK

Four pharmacists working in Birmingham, UK, became frustrated by the inefficiencies, delays, and access limitations faced by patients and animals with a need for bespoke medicines.

New Beginning

Our First Lab

We opened our first cutting-edge, highly automated lab, where orders could progress rapidly through formulation, quality control, and distribution with efficiencies unheard of in our industry.

Our First Licences

Received our MRHA Manufacturer’s Specials Licence to manufacture unlicensed medicines, our MHRA Wholesale Distributor Authorisation (WDA) License, our Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification, and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Received the Home Office Controlled Drug Licence Sch 1 to 5 with CBPM annotations for the import, manufacture, and distribution of medicinal cannabis

From there, we aim to take our world leading science and tech-driven approach beyond the UK, enabling healthcare and veterinary networks around the world to benefit from our solutions, and improve patient and animal care through pharmaceutical excellence.

As soon as your order arrives, it is assigned a digital identity and QR code so it can be tracked and quickly progressed through our formulation labs, QA, and packaging.

Throughout, everything is optimised. We automatically assign jobs to the fastest technicians for that type of formulation. And by accurately modelling demand, we always have the right people and ingredients available.

Finally our location in Birmingham, at the centre of the UK and next to all major courier hubs, enables swift delivery, providing the latest order cut-off times in the industry.
